Studio Manager

New York City | Full-Time, Onsite | Includes One Regular Weekend Day

Compensation: $75,000–$77,000 annually (salaried, exempt)

We are hiring a Studio Manager to lead daily operations across our five beautiful studios. We’re looking for a proactive, organized, and people-centered leader who ensures our spaces run seamlessly, safely, and with excellence—creating an environment where staff and clients feel supported, inspired, and connected.

What You’ll Do

  1. Oversee daily studio operations, safety, and presentation across all locations

  2. Mentor and develop Associate Studio Managers and Studio Caretakers

  3. Manage scheduling, class coverage, and operational logistics

  4. Partner with community, teaching, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional client experience

  5. Maintain budgets, sustainability practices, and consistent studio standards

  6. Support community events and ensure all communications reflect ERP’s values

What You Bring

  1. 2–3+ years in studio, hospitality, or operations management (multi-site experience a plus)

  2. Strong leadership and communication skills with a people-first mindset

  3. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure

  4. Familiar with Asana, Slack, Momence, and Google Workspace

  5. Committed to inclusivity, sustainability, and collaborative team culture

Associate Studio Manager

New York City | Part-Time, Onsite | Includes One Regular Weekend Day

Compensation: $35,000 annually (salaried, exempt) for 20 hours a week

East River Pilates is growing — and we’re looking for a part-time Associate Studio Manager (20 hours/week, including one weekend day and evening or non-traditional hours) to help our studios thrive.

As an Associate Studio Manager (ASM), you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our five NYC studios. You’ll bridge communication between clients, teachers, and leadership, helping us maintain the high standard of care, organization, and community connection that defines East River Pilates.

What You’ll Do

  1. Support daily operations across multiple studios, keeping spaces clean, safe, and fully functional.

  2. Communicate warmly and professionally with clients and team members.

  3. Coordinate schedules, support caretakers, and ensure seamless studio coverage.

  4. Assist with events, maintenance visits, and administrative systems like Asana and Momence.

  5. Uphold ERP’s values — Integrity, Belonging, Evolution, Teamwork, and Sustainability — in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

  1. 1–2 years of experience in operations, client service, or studio administration (fitness or hospitality a plus).

  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  3. A proactive, dependable communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.

  4. Someone who genuinely believes in sharing the life-changing benefits of Pilates with every body.

Pilates Teacher Associates

Roles Available:
Part-Time and Full-Time

Requirements:
Must be certified to teach both Mat and Reformer Pilates.
Pre/Postnatal certified preferred.
If not Pre/Postnatal certified, a willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment.

Compensation
Certified Pilates Teacher: Minimum starting base rate of $53-$55 depending on Pre/Postnatal certification with earning potential of up to $80+ per class
Senior Pilates Teacher: Minimum starting base rate of $65 with earning potential of $90 per class

Volunteering Days | DOING GOOD Initiative

In an effort to encourage an ongoing commitment to DOING GOOD, ERP offers 2 Volunteering Days per year which allow paid time off for employees to volunteer their time at charities or organizations.

Ongoing Education Program: Professional Development & Inclusivity Training

We value the growth and development of our people. Each year we offer the opportunity for employees to be reimbursed for professional development related to their role and inclusivity training. The current budget is:

  • Professional Development Budget: $250 for part & full-time teacher roles / $600 for management roles

  • Inclusivity Training Budget: $200 per person

Time Off

In order to maintain an inclusive and flexible work environment, employees are entitled to request time off for any public, religious, national, cultural, secular, or alternative holiday.

  • ERP offers full-time salaried employees a total of 21 PTO days/168 PTO hours per year. This total takes into consideration 13 regular PTO days, plus 8 Floating Holiday PTO days to account for the number of Public Holidays observed by ERP annually, which may be used at any time at the employee’s discretion.

  • All salaried employees & managers are entitled to take up to a maximum total of six (6) weeks of time off per calendar year.
