At East River Pilates, we are proud to offer our famously feel-good
Prenatal & Postnatal Friendly Pilates offerings to our ever-growing community.
Our All Levels, Prenatal & Postnatal Friendly classes are designed to energize, educate, and empower people at all stages of their prenatal and postnatal journey.
This supportive class is designed to meet you where you are and is open to everyone —whether you're preparing for birth, navigating postpartum recovery, or simply craving a feel-good, functional workout. Following our signature All Levels style of combining contemporary Pilates techniques with functional movement principles, each session blends smooth transitions with dynamic exercises that prioritize posture, core and pelvic floor engagement, hip stability, and joint alignment.
These classes offers a safe, welcoming space to build strength, enhance body awareness, and move with intention—all while honoring where you are today.
We currently offer a variety of Pre & Postnatal friendly workouts in person and via ERP Online, our On-Demand & Live Virtual workout platform. Our ever growing library offers mat, cardio, stretch, yoga & meditation for our Pre & Postnatal Community!

Due to the nature of Prenatal and Postnatal classes being scheduled less frequently, we highly recommend the following pricing options when joining Prenatal & Postnatal classes.

Safety Policies
To guide you safely through pregnancy and beyond,
we have the following policies in place.
Prenatal Safety Policies
In your first trimester (weeks 1-12), we strongly encourage you to participate in ONLY Prenatal & Postnatal classes. All regular group classes are not appropriate for pregnant people.
From your second trimester onwards (from week 13), you are permitted to join only Prenatal & Postnatal classes.
Postnatal Safety Policies
Prior to commencing Postnatal Pilates, you must have received verbal permission from your obstetrician, GP, or midwife. We recommend scheduling a private session prior to commencing group classes. You are permitted to join only Prenatal & Postnatal classes until you have received verbal permission from one of our instructors to move forward with regular group classes.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable.
Thank you for respecting our strict 12 hour cancellation policy for all bookings.
Cancellation or change requests received via email are not valid. All cancellations and changes must be managed online at least 12 hours prior to your booking to avoid forfeiting your credit.
If you are booking from a time zone outside of New York, please use the toggle at the top of the schedule to switch to New York.
