Role Description

The role of East River Pilates’ (ERP) General Manager is to;

  • lead and manage a motivated, productive, and successful team with integrity and candor; 

  • enhance the operational sustainability and efficiency of business procedures, systems, and people operations processes across multiple locations; and

  • innovate and implement strategies for business growth and development.

In line with ERP’s mission, ‘to empower, educate, and inspire all people through the life changing benefits of Pilates,’ this role is designed to;

  • guide all staff to consistently deliver ERP’s feel good service offerings to a standard of excellence;

  • facilitate professional growth;

  • maintain a safe, professional, and inclusive studio environment;

  • and strengthen and expand ERP’s reputation, in Brooklyn, and beyond.

  • Lead a team of motivated, productive, and successful people

  • Oversee day to day operations, communications & systems

You have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a manager or similar position

  • Knowledge of business processes

  • Experience in a client-centered and team-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated experience and success with managing people

  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities

  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to implement new procedures and carry out detailed written and oral instructions

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver feedback effectively to create positive and lasting change

  • Proficiency in Mindbody software a plus

Compensation:

  • Full-time salary

  • $55,000 to $70,000

  • 16 Days Paid Time Off Per Year

  • Subsidized Health Benefits

  • Complimentary Pilates
