A Weekend in Hudson
September 4th - 7th, 2026
Shed the summer. Step into fall. Join ERP for a grounding weekend of movement, mindfulness, and community in Hudson, NY.
Join us for an unforgettable three-night retreat hosted by
Lauren and Jack from East River Pilates.
Set in a beautifully restored historic building on Warren Street in the heart of Hudson, this end-of-summer escape invites you to exhale the busyness of the season, reawaken your body, and settle into something slower and more intentional before autumn takes hold.
Blending East River Pilates' signature feel-good, functional movement, each day will weave together energizing sessions and gentle, restorative flows with unhurried time to soften, connect, and come back to yourself. Expect movement that invigorates, breath that expands, and stillness that actually sticks.
Savor nourishing meals made with the last of summer's bounty and the first flavors of fall, take in Hudson's warmth as the leaves begin to turn, and give yourself over to a weekend of movement, mindfulness, and genuine connection. Whether you're looking to deepen your practice or just need a real reset before the season turns, this is your weekend.
Known for his dynamic and engaging classes, Jack creates sessions that are both challenging and accessible, meeting clients where they are while helping them progress toward their individual goals. His teaching focuses on building strong foundations, developing body awareness, and creating movement strategies that support life both inside and outside the studio.
Jack believes movement is a powerful tool for becoming more connected to ourselves. Whether working with first-time clients, experienced movers, or future instructors, his goal is to create an environment where people feel empowered to reach their full potential.
His love of movement has evolved into a deep interest in how the body works, combining contemporary Pilates with a strong foundation in biomechanics, movement science, and evidence-based practice.
Lauren is a thoughtful, grounded, and receptive movement educator whose teaching style is technical, patient, and deeply encouraging. She works with movers of all levels, guiding students toward greater awareness of mind–body connectivity through proprioceptive practice and nuanced breathing dynamics.
Her mission is to support students in cultivating strength, stability, mobility, and ease of movement, both in and beyond the studio. In every class, she hopes students leave feeling more grounded in their bodily sensations, carrying that awareness into daily life. Lauren believes movement is a powerful healing practice for both body and spirit, and she finds deep joy in being a small part of her students’ ongoing journeys.
